Juicing

If you find you are often lacking in energy, you are constantly getting colds or you are just feeling like your body is not operating at its best, then I have a solution for you! It is such a simple solution and I don’t understand why everyone isn’t adding it to their daily routine. Often when you are feeling like this, it is your body’s way of trying to tell you that something is not right! We often try to fix these problems by putting a “Band-Aid” over it, be it in the form of coffee to wake you up or using pharmaceuticals to suppress a cold. However, by doing this we are only hiding the problem instead of addressing the cause. So many of our problems can be solved by feeding our body with good quality healthy foods. We need to fuel our body with vitamins, minerals and nutrients it needs in order for it to function in the best way possible!

This is where juicing comes in! So many of the foods we are consuming today are highly processed and nutritionally empty. We have become so used to a fast and convenient world that we have begun to starve our bodies of the real, whole foods that we require. No processed or packaged food is ever going to be able to match the nutritional value we receive from the whole fruits and vegetables that the earth provides for us! Juicing is a way of bringing this nutritional goodness back into your life in a low calorie, easy to absorb way. It provides your body with so many amazing nutrients, you will definitely be able to notice a difference in how your body is functioning and feeling.

Benefits Of Juicing

The benefits of juicing are undeniable and by juicing daily, you will definitely notice a positive difference in how you are feeling. Juicing is known to increase energy levels, better your immune systems, help with weight loss, improve athletic performance, improve skin appearance and even help to prevent some chronic diseases. Hippocrates said 2000 years ago that “all disease begins in the gut” so it would make sense to ensure you are providing your body with all the vitamins, nutrients and minerals that it needs.

Juicing is a way of efficiently adding all of these as it takes out the insoluble fiber of the fruits and vegetables, making it easier and quicker for your body to absorb the nutrients. By adding these juices to your diet which contains a lot of prebiotics, vitamins and minerals you should be able to see a huge improvement in your overall health. We need to start fuelling our bodies with nutritious foods that we are made to consume rather than the processed foods that make up so much of our diets today.

An important thing to note is the difference between Juicing and Blending. While both are beneficial, they have different purposes. Blending is the process of adding whole fruits and vegetables with a liquid and mixing it all up. This can be a great way to have breakfast on the run or an easy, nutritious and fulfilling lunch! Juicing, however, is the process of separating the juice from the fruit which removes the insoluble fiber. By removing this, it means only the soluble fiber is left which allows your body to absorb the nutrients from the juice faster and easier.

A great way to start the day is with a fresh juice. This provides your body with an influx of vitamins, minerals and nutrients from the get go and means you will

Food really is the best medicine and it is time we start feeding our bodies with healthy foods we need! There have been studies done that show the link between a healthy diet and the prevention of chronic diseases such as cancer, Alzheimer’s and so much more. Many fruits and vegetables contain important phytonutrients which have been linked with reductions in the risk of major chronic diseases.

Another important reason to add juicing to your diet is that the health of our guts is hugely important to how well our body looks and feels. A majority of our immune system is located in our gut and we need to ensure we are filling it with all the necessary vitamins and minerals to keep it operating at its best. By consuming fresh juice each day we are able to increase the vitamins and nutrients our body is getting and by increasing this, we can, therefore, improve our immune system. There are countless studies showing the correlation of a healthy digestive system and our overall health.
